1. Allah is the One Who Gives Healing

Arabic

وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ

Urdu Translation

اور جب میں بیمار ہوتا ہوں تو وہی مجھے شفا دیتا ہے۔

English Translation

And when I am ill, it is He who cures me.

  • Recite with complete belief that healing comes only from Allah.

2. The Qur’an is Healing for What is in the Hearts

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ

Urdu Translation

اے لوگو! تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے نصیحت آ چکی ہے اور جو کچھ سینوں میں ہے اس کے لیے شفا ہے۔

English Translation

O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the hearts.

How to Practice Spiritual Healing in a Sunnah-Based Manner

  • Make intention only for the sake of Allah and for seeking His mercy and healing.
  • If possible, be in wudu.

DU‘A OF SHIFA

  1. Prepare one glass or half a glass of water.
  2. Perform wudu and sit alone on the prayer mat in a calm and peaceful place.
  3. Begin by reciting Durood Sharif.
  4. Before starting, take a few moments to forgive yourself.
  5. Then sincerely forgive every person who has caused you pain, hurt, difficulty, or suffering.
  6. Close your eyes and listen attentively to Surah Ar-Rahman in the voice of Qari Basit.
  7. Listen with full focus, humility, and hope in Allah’s mercy.
  8. After listening, say “Allah, Allah, Allah” and then drink the water.
  9. This routine should be performed three times a day:

اللہ مجھے کافی ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اسی پر میں نے بھروسا کیا، اور وہ عرشِ عظیم کا رب ہے۔

English Translation

Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god except Him. Upon Him I place my trust, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.

3. Allahu Allahu Rabbi La Ushriku Bihi Shay’a

اللَّهُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي لَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا

Urdu Translation

اللہ، اللہ میرا رب ہے، میں اس کے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہیں کرتا۔

English Translation

Allah, Allah is my Lord, and I associate nothing with Him.

  • Repeat with full tawheed, reliance, and spiritual certainty.

4. Hasbunallahu Wa Ni‘mal Wakeel

Arabic

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

Urdu Translation

اللہ ہمیں کافی ہے اور وہ بہترین کارساز ہے۔

English Translation

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

How to Practice

  • Recite during stress, fear, helplessness, uncertainty, and emotional overload.
  • It may be repeated 33 times or 100 times in personal dhikr.
  • Recite with tawakkul and surrender of all affairs to Allah.

5. La Ilaha Illa Anta Subhanaka Inni Kuntu Minaz-Zalimin

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Urdu Translation

تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، تو پاک ہے، بے شک میں ہی قصورواروں میں سے تھا۔

English Translation

There is no god except You; You are perfect and exalted. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.

  • This is the supplication of Prophet Yunus عليه السلام.

6. Astaghfirullaha Alladhi La Ilaha Illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyumu Wa Atubu Ilayh

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

Urdu Translation

میں اللہ سے بخشش مانگتا ہوں جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ ہمیشہ زندہ ہے، سب کو قائم رکھنے والا ہے، اور میں اسی کی طرف توبہ کرتا ہوں۔

English Translation

I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him.

7. Astaghfirullah

8. La Hawla Wa La Quwwata Illa Billah

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

گناہ سے بچنے کی طاقت اور نیکی کرنے کی قوت اللہ کے سوا کسی میں نہیں۔

There is no power and no strength except with Allah.

کوئی طاقت اور قوت نہیں مگر اللہ کے ساتھ، جو بلند شان والا اور عظمت والا ہے۔

English Translation

Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him.

11. Allahumma Antas-Salam Wa Minkas-Salam

Urdu Translation

اے اللہ! تو ہی سلامتی والا ہے اور تجھی سے سلامتی ہے، تو بہت بابرکت ہے، اے بزرگی اور عزت والے۔

English Translation

O Allah, You are Peace, and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of majesty and honor.

How to Practice

  • Reflect on Allah as the true source of peace and safety.

SURAH AR-RAHMAN THERAPY

Surah Ar-Rahman Therapy is practiced for seven days only, in the morning, afternoon, and evening. This routine is performed with sincerity, faith, forgiveness, and trust in Allah, while seeking healing through the blessing of the Qur’an and the mercy of Allah.

How to Perform Surah Ar-Rahman Therapy
